Great Shots: weathering the storms

We all have our burdens during these long winter months –  especially amid a pandemic – but so do other creatures. Denise Pruden’s beautiful photos here give us a reminder of that fact, along with the hope that they can endure the sometimes harsh environment until spring brings new bounty. “Spring can’t arrive soon enough for all of us and our friends in nature,” Denise wrote to WNLP. If you have a Great Shot to share, email it as a .jpeg to wnlp@whatsnewlaporte.com. Be sure to include the photographer’s name and a bit of information about the photo(s).

has been a very good year for birdwatching. a few suet blocks and a bag of seed can bring you a lot of enjoyment in a abnormally boring winter.
