Virtual trivia night will benefit youths in the community

La Porte County Family Advocates’ Court Youth Advocate (CYA) Program will host a virtual trivia night on April 1 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Matt Hammond from Hambone’s Trivia will  co-host an online version of his Indy-Famous Trivia Party.

Registration is open for teams of 4 to 6 people for $50. Event T-shirts, mulligans and an additional round opportunity are also available for purchase online.

This year’s theme is “Reach for Your Dreams Wherever You Are,” encouraging youths that they can achieve their potential by moving toward the goals ahead. The CYA Program helps youths find that potential and works to develop goals for a brighter future. Its one-on-mentoring guides youths to find their strengths and acts as another support to promote better choices.

Proceeds from the event will go to support CYA efforts towards youth and volunteer recruitment and training. If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the life of a youth who needs you, becoming a CYA volunteer is a great investment of your time.
