Seems to be an uptick in shootings in Laporte County. I hope it’s just a blip and not becoming a normal thing. I hope our community doesn’t become an extension of Chicago.

As the weather warms we will see more. The park near there attracts more kids than live in the area. Some of the kids are getting loud and aggressive.
I live behind the police station and no longer feel safe walking the neighborhood. There’s a lot more traffic since the police station took over the space. Unfortunately at my age, I can’t afford to move.

But Michigan City is doing everything it can to make itself an extension of Chicago. Just getting ready for the bad, and you won’t like it.
