The La Porte office of the Indiana Department of Transportation reports that the U.S. 35 overpass from the area of Washington Street to Lincoln Way will be closed from about 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 10.
The closure is required so NIPSCO can continue work on upgrading the wires above the highway.
Motorists should be prepared to seek an alternate route.
