Would you like to put money on COVID deaths vs falling down stairs deaths? I bet stairs would win and I’m still not scared of either.

      “Name”,
I too lost my mom to covid. Was right next to her side when she was taken off the ventilator. Not a great memory.
Why I think some people are so resistant to the vaccine and masks is the way it it being pushed by our government. They are telling us that this is needed to get rid of Covid, but they have an open border allowing Covid positive and unvaccinated people in from who knows where. What kind of sense does this make? Of course there is going to be resistance if this is how you want to operate.

Your argument truly is mystifying. If unvaccinated people coming into the country across the border are responsible for the continued surge, then all the more reason to get the vaccine to protect yourself from “them”. Because we all know that’s what your argument is really about.

Deb is scared of people like me? Interesting. Keep hiding in your basement because people like me aren’t going away. Keep shoving this COVID nonsense down our throats until the end of time and you’re just going to create more people like me. You all do realize diseases have been around since the beginning of humanity right? I guess we were just all cavemen before 2020. No masks, eating inside restaurants, shaking peoples hands, not bleaching everything in our lives nonstop like we have OCD…DISGUSTING huh?

COVID is a tricky thing… recently has shown it has a nasty habit of getting rid of people who refuse to follow the science or the guidance based on such science.

Diseases have been around since the beginning of humanity, but what separates us from the apes and rest of the species on the planet is we have the intelligence to develop ways to try to avoid and prevent the disease. Why would we not want to the same with a disease that has already claimed more than a half million of us?

We’re all tired of the pandemic. Everyone has been asked nicely to do the right thing to help move us past this and take simple and inexpensive measures such as wearing a mask and getting a free vaccine. The overwhelming majority of adults have complied, with the exception of an un-silent minority that would rather regurgitate whatever misinformation they read on Facebook than do their part to help move us past this horrible disease and the disruption it has caused. At this point, mandate away so people like you stop dragging the rest of us down and continue wasting our time.

Nobody had asked me nicely. Now I’m being told to get the shot or lose my job. I’m more scared of this political “vaccine” than I am of COVID. That’s it in a nutshell. The crazy, hateful, non stop information/mis-information keeps me further and further away from getting any shot the government says to get. Since when do they know what’s best for me? These crazy self serving politicians need to stop their constant division and hate. Everyone should do what’s best for them, and stop all the BS! I’m unvaccinated, I wear a mask if necessary, I now work from home. I’ll take those odds. And if you got the shot – Good For YOU, but please leave me out of all this. Thank you and be well.

It would be nice if we could put the covid and the Trump cult behind us.. We don’t have to be like Texas and Florida.

The vast majority of people who have not gotten the vaccine are people in large cities/metropolitan areas, especially minorities whose vaccination rates are about 30%. These are not Trump supporters. The vaccine has been readily available to everyone for a long time now. The reasons for not getting the vaccine are numerous but we should not be blaming people of one political view for being the reason someone decides not to get vaccinated.

Just do it ok? Get the vaccine and wear a mask. For the love of others. Just do it. It’s as simple as that.
