Apparently, WNLP’s Mike Kellems and Bob Wellinski have started a craze, um, crawling with enthusiasm thanks to their insect shots. Who knew that our community was home to so many amateur entomologists? Not to mention hitchhiking arthropods? It’s sure fun to find out!

Photo 1 from Walter Brath: “While mowing the lawn Tuesday I saw this wonderful fellow (praying mantis) looking for a meal in the flower beds. He stuck around for quite some time and was fun to watch.”

Photo 2 from Gena Blankenship: “This katydid jumped on our windshield at Menard’s in Michigan City. It hung on (at speeds up to 45 mph) until we got to Walmart in La Porte, where it then jumped off.”
